SALES POLICY

1. Purpose and Scope


This policy defines the general terms and conditions of sale applicable to all transactions of luxury vintage women's watches conducted by our company, registered in Switzerland. The company is an independent retailer of vintage luxury watches. It is neither affiliated with, authorized by, nor a partner of the watch brands mentioned on the website. This policy applies to all local sales made following private appointments arranged in accordance with our Appointment Policy.


2. Nature of Products

The watches offered are authentic, pre-owned, luxury vintage women's watches. Each watch is:

  • Authenticated by us

  • Serviced at the manufacturer's headquarters – Invoice available

  • Accompanied by documentation on its condition and history (where possible, according to the product description)

  • Sold as is, with explicit mention of any restoration or service.

 

3. Sales Process


3.1 Mandatory Customer Journey

Every sale is preceded by the following steps, in accordance with our Appointment Policy:

  1. First appointment: Presentation via secure video conference

  2. Second appointment: In-person viewing of the watch

  3. Third appointment: Finalization of the purchase (if a purchase decision is made)


3.2 No Remote Sales
No sale will be concluded without the customer first viewing the watch in person.

4. Prices and Pricing Conditions

4.1 Displayed Prices

  • Prices are shown in Swiss francs (CHF).

  • Swiss VAT is included in all displayed prices.

  • Prices are subject to change at any time before order confirmation.


4.2 Additional Charges

  • Appointment Fee: May apply depending on the watch (see Appointment Policy).

  • Security Deposit: May be required and will be deducted from the final price upon purchase.

  • Additional Expertise Fee: Available upon request; a quote will be provided beforehand.


5. Payment Methods

5.1 Accepted Payment Methods
Preferred:

  • Swiss bank transfer

  • International bank transfer (fees payable by the customer)

Accepted under certain conditions:

  • Cash: Strongly discouraged for amounts exceeding CHF 5,000.

  • Swiss bank check (subject to clearance, processing time may vary). 10 business days)


5.2 Payment Terms

  • Security Deposit: A deposit may be required to reserve a watch (amount varies depending on the watch).

  • Balance: Payable before delivery of the watch.

  • No watch will be released without confirmation of full payment.

5.3 Payment Deadline
Full payment must be made within a maximum of 7 days following the sales agreement, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

6. Watch Delivery

6.1 Delivery Conditions
The watch is physically delivered to the customer only:

  • After confirmation of full payment (bank transfer credited to the account)

  • At a secure location (office, business center, partner jewelry store in Switzerland)

  • Upon signature of the invoice indicating personal delivery


6.2 Documents Provided
Upon delivery, the customer receives:

  • Official Swiss invoice including VAT

  • Certificate of authenticity (if mentioned in the product description)

  • Documentation on the condition and history of the watch (as detailed in the product description)

  • All original accessories (box, papers, case) if included in the sale (product description)

6.3 Shipping Insurance
If the customer requests delivery by mail or courier:

  • Insured and secure shipping only

  • Fees payable by the customer

  • Personal delivery preferred


7. Watch Guarantees and Condition

7.1 Guarantee of Authenticity
We guarantee the authenticity of every watch sold. In the event of a valid claim within 14 days of purchase:

  • Independent expert appraisal

  • Full refund if the watch is deemed inauthentic

  • Expert appraisal fees covered by us in the event of proven inauthenticity

7.2 Guarantee of Functioning
All watches for sale have undergone a complete service at their manufacturer's facility. The service invoice will be provided to the new owner of the watch.

  • Serviced Watches: 12-month warranty on the movement (parts and labor)

  • The exact condition is specified in writing before purchase.


7.3 Warranty Exclusions
The following are excluded from any warranty:

  • Normal wear and tear and cosmetic aging

  • Damage resulting from misuse, impact, contact with water (if not waterproof), or magnetization

  • Work performed by unauthorized third parties after purchase

8. Right of Withdrawal

8.1 No Statutory Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Swiss law, no right of withdrawal applies to sales concluded after physical inspection of the goods in a business setting.

8.2 Return Policy
As a courtesy, we may accept a return within 7 days of purchase, provided that:

  • The watch is in the exact condition in which it was received (unworn, unaltered)

  • To preserve the integrity of our vintage watches and guarantee their quality for future buyers, each return requires a thorough condition assessment, recertification, and preparation for resale. This fee covers this assessment and ensures that all our watches, even returned ones, maintain the same standards of excellence. This fee of 8%, capped at CHF 750, covers this professional assessment.

  • Subject to our prior written agreement.

9. Retention of Title


The watch remains the property of the company until full payment of the agreed price. In the event of non-payment within the specified timeframe, we reserve the right to reclaim the watch without prior notice.


10. Data Protection and Confidentiality

10.1 Data Collected

  • The personal data collected (name, contact details, identity document) is used for:

  • Managing the business relationship

  • Compliance with legal obligations

10.2 Storage and Use

  • Secure storage in accordance with Swiss law

  • No disclosure to third parties without consent, except where legally required

  • Right of access, rectification, and erasure upon written request


11. Liability and Security

11.1 Insurance
All our watches are insured during appointments and until they are actually handed over to the customer.

11.2 Appointment Security
In accordance with our Appointment Policy:

  • Systematic identity verification

  • Supervised handling of watches

  • Immediate termination in case of inappropriate behavior

11.3 Legal Compliance
We strictly comply with:

  • Swiss legislation on the sale of second-hand goods

  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML) obligations

  • Customs regulations for international clients


12. Disputes and Applicable Law

12.1 Applicable Law
All sales are governed by Swiss law.

12.2 Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable solution. If no agreement can be reached:

  • Jurisdiction: Courts of the company's registered office in Switzerland

  • Mediation: Possible with the agreement of both parties

12.3 Language
This policy is written in French. In case of translation, only the French version shall prevail.

13. Policy Modification


We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. The applicable terms and conditions are those in effect on the date the sale is concluded.
